VIDEOTEC
Videotec was established in 1986 making its first entry into the market with the first range of camera housings and the first electronic products for video management. After the opening of its French subsidiary in 1992, Videotec was the first ISO9002-certified company in its branch with a total staff of 50 employees. In 2000 the “Green Light Program Ready on Stock” was implemented and two new subsidiaries were opened in Hong Kong and in the USA. In 2001 the company was certified ISO 9001. In 2004 it moved to the present facility in Schio (Vicenza ) and this enhanced the process of industrial automation leading and the year after the lunch of the 24-Hours Delivery Service for most of its catalogue items. In 2006, the launch of ULISSE, integrated positioning unit with video cameras for outdoor, earned the company a place in the “Security Industry Awards Finalist”, one of the most prestigious awards of the sector assigned during IFSEC. Follows the launching of MEDUSA, vandal-proof dome enclosure, and various further variants of ULISSE. A very important step in the company’s life was the development of ALBERT in 2008, the new intelligent video system, which revolutionizes the world of digital video analysis. Albert was one of the finalist products at “Security Industry Finalist Award” in the category “CCTV product of the year”. In 2009 started the production of Ulisse Compact, the last born in the Ulisse positioning units family, recognized for its efficiency, speed and competitiveness.
